The JBL Link Portable is about a centimeter shorter than the Ultimate Ears Boom 3, with a top plate that looks like a rounded-off square rather than a strictly cylindrical design. It’s perfectly fabric skin reminds us of an Ultimate Ears product, however, there’s an altogether more reliable feeling that satisfies us.

Sound– It’s an incredible open-sounding mix, with plenty of room for the furiously fast-paced drums, bass, guitar, and screamed vocals.
