There is no exception with the new Samsung Galaxy A21s, an extremely budget-friendly smartphone with enough oomph to make it an appealing offer. The latest Galaxy A phone features Super AMOLED displays, although even the most basic models cannot afford them.
As a result, the Galaxy A21s’ screen is 6.5 inches in size and uses a PLS TFT display, “one with a resolution of at least 720p. Samsung uses its own Exynos 850 processor, which appears to be adequate on paper, but we have yet to test how it performs under stress.
In addition to its huge display, the Galaxy A21s boasts a quad-camera setup on the rear and a massive 5,000mAh battery with support for fast charging. The camera configuration is typical of mid-range devices.

What You Should Know About Samsung Galaxy A21s

In the big scheme of things, the reductions are tiny. The Galaxy A21s sports a 6.5-inch PLS display with a 720p resolution, but it has an octa-core Exynos 850 processor and 3GB of RAM, so it should be able to handle everything you throw at it. Samsung has managed to cram five cameras onto one little device, which is amazing considering its low price.
Competition and Pricing
SIM-free, the Galaxy A21s costs £180, with 24-month contracts beginning at around £15 a month for the device. Its low price casts a particularly harsh light on what we may anticipate spending for a Galaxy S20 Ultra.
As an experiment, you could buy six Galaxy A21s phones for the same cost as a single flagship Samsung phone and still have some leftover cash. The A21s is not the only low-cost smartphone on the market, and it has several capable competitors.
Features and Design

The Galaxy A21s follow in the footsteps of Samsung’s most recent models in aesthetic appeal. Despite its plastic construction and lack of glass protection, the Galaxy A21s has a clean design with low screen bezels and a barely noticeable hole punch in the top-left corner.
Cameras flash, and LED is all neatly placed in a rectangle on the back of the phone, which is slightly curved. A fingerprint sensor positioned on the phone’s back is also located in the phone’s center to unlock the phone and authorize contactless payments. Face unlocks also possible with the selfie camera.
Display
The Galaxy A21s has a 1,600 x 720 PLS display, the same as a standard IPS screen, to save some money. Since the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 and Realme 6 both have Full HD displays, this isn’t fantastic by contemporary standards.
There aren’t many display profiles to pick from, which is unusual for a Samsung phone, and what we do get isn’t very noteworthy. It only covered 84% of the sRGB color space in technical testing while covering 73% of the sRGB color gamut.
Battery Life and Performance
Samsung’s Exynos 980 CPU clocked at p to 2GHz, and 3GB of RAM power the Galaxy A21s. Only a small number of Vivo smartphones, none of which are sold in the UK, employ this particular CPU, and so here is our first look at one.
The Galaxy A21s is a decent performer, but you can get a better phone for less money. The Galaxy A21s isn’t as fast as its Qualcomm and MediaTek-powered rivals, but it never seemed sluggish or unresponsive.
Conclusion
The remainder of the Galaxy A21s is guaranteed to be a hit. No surprise that Carphone Warehouse’s most popular smartphones at the moment continue to be lower-priced Samsung models. Neither do I expect it to shortly.
