The top of the speaker is divided into three touch-sensitive panels, with the middle segment controlling music playback and the flanking outer segments controlling volume levels. Below these invisible panels are four centered LEDs that light up to indicate Google Assistant activation, Bluetooth pairing mode, when you’re on a call, and more. If you choose to mute the microphone, the four LEDs will remain amber until overridden by another function.
